As a Medjet member if you become hospitalized more than 150 miles from home* and meet transport criteria, Medjet will arrange medical transfer to the hospital of your choice, within your home country, at no additional cost. All you pay is the membership fee.

The Medjet Difference
It's important to know the difference in medical transport options! Most Platinum card benefits and travel insurance policies will not get you to the hospital of your choice if you are hospitalized while traveling. That is where being a Medjet member pays off.
Most platinum cards and travel insurance policies will only arrange to medically transport you, if medically necessary, and then to the closest appropriate medical center. But as a Medjet member, you make the call on where you want to go for your care and treatment. Most Medjet members want to get back to their home hospital, medical professionals and network of family and friends. As a Medjet member, the decision of which hospital, within your home country, to go to is yours.
